If you arrive in LA a day early, join us for a fun cruise with locals on the westside with one of LA’s biggest skating groups. All wheels welcome on this skate!
We will skate a simplified version of our normal route to Jam skate at City Hall. Anyone who wants to hangout, dance, & skate the shorter route will stay for a bit, skate along the protected bike lane on Culver blvd, then return home to the lot.
This week we will also be having our split skate with an ADVANCED optional extension! Our advanced route has hills, less ambient street lighting, and a few rougher spots of pavement. Know your limits, bringing LIGHTS and protective gear encouraged Check out the elevation gain/ drop to see that we’ll get in a killer workout that pays off with two sweet hill bombs.
Intermediate skate: be comfortable street skating, stopping, avoiding common road obstacles
Advanced skate: Dangerously steep roads, distance, poor lighting/visibility at times, stopping is a NECESSITY!
Meet at 10808 Culver Blvd, Culver City CA 90230 by 7:15 pm.
Leader: Jen Yonda
On site parking available
